Here are our top five events happening in Ocean City during September.

Sept. 6–8: Ocean City Sportsman Expo

Find all of your hunting, fishing and boating essentials at the Ocean City Sportsman Expo, Friday through Sunday, Sept. 6–8. The event, at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center, is a regional consumer buying show bringing together sports outfitters, apparel and more.

Sept. 6–8: National Folk Festival

Spend the weekend in Salisbury for the National Folk Festival. This is one of the country’s largest and longest-running celebrations of arts, culture and heritage. The three-day outdoor festival will feature over 350 of the finest traditional musicians, dancers, craftspeople and more. Watch performances and demonstrations while also taking part in workshops and enjoying the food and craft beer.

Sept. 12–15: OC Bikefest

The largest motorcycle rally on the East Coast takes place right here in Ocean City. From Thursday to Sunday, Sept. 12–15, OC Bikefest revs up the excitement. Celebrate the lifestyle and culture behind motorcycle biking. Bikers from all over the region and country come out for this festival, featuring live performances from Cheap Trick, ZZ Top and Stone Temple Pilots.

Sept. 19–22: Sunfest

One of Ocean City’s best and biggest festivals celebrates its 45th year. Sunfest is a free, family-friendly festival held at the south end of the Ocean City Boardwalk near the Inlet. Sunfest is a weekend of arts and crafts, food, children’s activities, a kite festival, live music and more. Headliners include “Who’s Bad” The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience, Granger Smith, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.

Sept. 27–28: Wine on the Beach

Wine, beer and more come right to Ocean City’s sandy beaches during Wine on the Beach. Now in its 25th year, the event features Maryland craft beers, regional wines, live music, food and arts and crafts. This year’s event will feature Anheuser Busch products, including Land Shark Lager. Anyone under 21 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
