Following Sundaes in the Park, at Northside Park, stick around for the 9 p.m. fireworks show.

June 16, 23, 30 | July 7, 14, 21, 28 | Aug. 4, 11, 18, 25 | Sept. 1

The Talbot Street Beach fireworks can be seen from the Ocean City Boardwalk, Monday’s at 10:30 p.m.

July 8, 15, 22, 29 | Aug. 5, 12, 19, 26 | Labor Day weekend

Launching Your Own Fireworks in Ocean City

Instead of going to watch a firework show, you may be tempted to hold your own. While the state of Maryland has approved the use of ground-based sparkling devices, these are illegal to possess in Ocean City without a permit. If you’re interested in conducting an organized fireworks display, Maryland licensed pyrotechnicians can apply for a permit from the Fire Marshal’s Office.

Ocean City does allow the use of handheld sparklers, such as: Snap-N-Pops, Black Cobra Snakes and Party Poppers.
