Restaurants like Pickles Pub have a variety of sandwiches, burgers, steaks and fresh, local seafood for the adults, while also offering kid-favorite fare from the kid’s menu. Harpoon Hanna’s may be known for their waterside cocktails, but the restaurant also features a menu with a child’s favorite dishes. Now the whole family can have a meal with a view.

Just because you’re with the little ones doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a fine dining experience. Treat yourself to an Italian feast at DaVinci’s by the Sea. While you indulge in authentic Italian cuisine, the kids can feast on their own pasta dishes. The Shark on the Harbor dishes out made-from-scratch Eastern Shore and Southern fare. You’ll love the beautifully plated meals while knowing that the children will find some of their favorites on the “Minnow’s Menu.”

The best way to have a successful day in Ocean City is to start with a filling breakfast. Throughout the city, you’ll find a number of eateries offering classic breakfast fare that the kids will scarf down. 

Start your mornings with scenic views and a fantastic meal at Bayside Skillet. The restaurant is known as Ocean City’s “Crepe and Omelet Place,” serving overstuffed omelets, gourmet crepes and freshly squeezed juices. Bayside Skillet has plenty of breakfast options for all ages. You’ll love Bayside’s upscale breakfast while the kids will enjoy the variety of crepes on the children’s menu.  

Family owned and operated for over 50 years, Happy Jack Pancake House is the perfect spot for a family breakfast. The restaurant dishes out 20 varieties of pancakes and omelets, while also offering hungry diners French toast, healthy entrees and gluten-free choices. The kid’s menu gives your little ones the option of ordering pancakes piled high with an array of toppings, along with classic breakfast fare. Each children’s meal even comes with a free drink.

There are several restaurants in Ocean City that offer cocktails and a waterside view for adults and a play area designated for kids. These restaurants allow the adults to unwind while their children can run around and burn off some energy.

Both you and your kids can enjoy a frozen drink at De Lazy Lizard. The open-air, beachfront bar offers plenty of cocktails for the adults and a non-alcoholic kid’s slushie served in a souvenir palm tree cup. De Lazy Lizard also boasts a children’s menu and playground.

Dead Freddies also has a playground, complete with a pirate ship, and a “Little Pirates” menu that your kids are sure to love. They can even complete their meal with ice cream served in a souvenir bucket with a shovel.

Fish Tales is a beachfront restaurant located at Bahia Marina. The casual restaurant has a large, enclosed playground that gives kids a chance to embrace their inner pirate. Fish Tales also boasts a games arcade and on-site face painter. When its time to eat, they can order off of the “Lil Skippers” menu. Each meal is served on a frisbee with apple slices, Gold Fish and a drink.

You’ll find another pirate-themed playground at Ropewalk. The restaurant also features plenty of games and a sandy playground. All children’s meals are served on a souvenir frisbee and come with a slushie or fountain drink.
